1. Mary Bell - United Kingdom
Like a lot of child killers, Mary Bell is frightening by the total gratuitousness of her acts. In 1968, on the eve of her 11th birthday, she strangled little Martin Brown, 4, in an abandoned house. A few days later, accompanied by one of her friends, she broke into an orphanage and ransacked the place. 8. Jasmine Richardson and Jeremy Steinke - Canada

Born in 1859 in Charlestown, Jesse Pomeroy is an enigma.
